Our Story
Welcome to Kyhl Farms. We are a small farm to table operation located in the beautiful Big Sky country of Montana.

We specialize in raising a specific breed of heritage hogs called Idaho Pasture Pigs, IPP’s for short, and are currently the only registered breeder of IPP’s in Montana and Wyoming!

When we decided we wanted to raise pigs, we knew we didn’t want a “traditional” pig. We wanted a docile, friendly and gentle meat pig that was adaptable to the farm environment. Idaho Pasture Pigs were created with the small scale farmer in mind. With their docile temperaments and short upturned snouts they are four legged lawn mowing machines!

We are passionate about our pigs, raising quality, pasture raised pork and we want to share that passion with you! Founded in the spring of 2016 by Randy and Paula Kyhl, we are just a short drive to Billings, Montana.
